How to use Saridon?
Saridon should be taken orally. Avoid crushing, chewing and breaking the tablets before consuming it. Saridon tablets contain three important ingredients: Paracetamol, Propiphenazone and caffeine. These three ingredients work together for relieving the pain and helps in reducing the severe pain.
Dosage:
- Adults- Single dose of 1 tablet. Try to take 3 doses in 24 hours in case of necessity.
- Children below 12 years of age should avoid the consumption of Saridon.
- Take 1 tablet every 3-4 hours.
- Avoid exceeding 3 tablets per day.
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
- Consult your doctor before taking it.
- Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, Gilbert's syndrome, hematopoietic dysfunction, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, have any illness, or have recently had a disease.
Interactions:
Avoid taking these tablets with alcohol as it can lead to some serious side effects. Patients who are suffering from liver problems can lead to some serious problems if they take Saridon tablets with alcohol.
Medicines used in the treatment of epilepsy, such as carbamazepine, should not be used together with the Saridon tablet as it may worsen the patient's condition. Medicines used to prevent seizures such as phenytoin do not interact well with the Saridon tablet and can cause serious side effects.
Medicines containing sodium nitrite should not be given with this tablet as it can cause
rashes, headaches and
dizziness. Medicines used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis, such as leflunomide, should not be used with Saridon, as the drugs can interact and reduce the effectiveness of each other. Local anesthetics such as prilocaine should not be given when using Saridon.
