How to use Satrogyl-O?
- Satrogyl-O Tablet is a prescription medication that should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at the same time every day to be effective.
- Give your child Satrogyl-O Dry Syrup orally, ideally at a set time, either before or after meals. If your child has a stomach ache, give it to them with food. Two times a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, is normally recommended. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the drug, give the same dose again, but never double the dose if the next dose is due.
Dosage
Missed Dose:
Give the missed dose as soon as you remember unless the child’s doctor has advised you to. Don't double the dose to make up for the one you missed. If you're still uncertain, speak to your child's doctor.
Overdose:
Confusion, headache, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, impairment of consciousness, fits, irregular heartbeats, nausea, and stomach ulcers can occur if you take too much Satrogyl-O Tablet. If you think you've taken too much of this drug, call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital right away.
Interactions:
When antacids containing calcium, magnesium, or aluminum are combined with sucralfate, the effect of Satrogyl-O Tablet is diminished. Consistent use of this tablet with immunosuppressive drugs like cyclosporin, asthma drugs like theophylline, uric acid-lowering drugs like probenecid, and blood-thinning drugs like warfarin can increase the effect of these drugs. Avoid using painkillers such as diclofenac and ketoprofen which can cause some harmful effects.
