New era in gynec minimally invasive surgery at Medicover Hyderabad.
Dec 11 2021 | Medicover Hospitals | HyderabadNew Advancement in Minimal invasive (Laparoscopy) procedures for Gynaecological surgeries with Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (vNOTES) advanced technique, which is scar-free and pain-free. Here the doctor uses specialized instruments inserted through the vagina instead of creating visible abdominal incisions in the body. This allows your doctor to gain access to the uterus and/or fallopian tubes and ovaries without any visible scarring.
Medicover Woman and Child hospital based in Hitech City, Hyderabad, has been performing gynecological surgeries through a new advanced technique called vNOTES, the first to offer this to our patients in Hyderabad and South India. Compared to other laparoscopy options like Robotic laparoscopy, the traditional keyhole Laparoscopy this procedure gives the advantage of less hospital stay and lower pain dose management, as it is a painless surgery.
Dr. Anil Krishna, Chairman of Medicover Hospitals, said, “This is a significant advancement in minimally invasive procedures for women. We are happy to offer almost at the same cost of laparoscopy for this newer and most advanced technology available for gynecological procedures”
Dr. Vindhya G, Sr. Gynaecologist & vNOTES Laparoscopic Surgeon at Medicover Woman and Child Hospital said, “This technique was initially described in 2004, and was applied since 2012 in Europe and 2018 onwards in the USA. I am the first to start this procedure in Hyderabad and I have been performing this technique since 2020 to my patients. I see very satisfactory results from over 100+ customers.
Dr. Sukesh, HOD, Department of Anesthesia said “This technique gives significant benefits to the patient and avoid a lot of other anesthetic complications as this would be operated in the low pressure of CO2 around 10 to 12 mm of Hg compared with 14 to 16 mm of Hg in typical other options.
