Cancer and Types of Cancer

Cancer is the growth of abnormal cells in the body. Cancer can lead to tumors and can damage the immune system. Cancer is broad term and there are more then 200 types of cancer.

Cancereous cells appear in one area and spread through the lymph nodes. These are known to be cluters of immune cells and are located throughout the body. Some types of cancer can cause rapid cell growth, while other can cause cells to grow and divide them in a slower rate. The major cause of cancer can be genetic factor and lifestyle choices like smoking, consumption of alcohol and not eating proper diet.
